I have purchased other synthetic base layer products including Nike Pro, Underarmour and found them to okay if you are very active. However, when you are stationary for long periods of time in the cold, windy wet weather like we have in the Pacific Northwest, they feel cold next to the skin. Ibex woolies, despite their light weight, really keep you comfortable. The form fit allows you to layer without bunching and provide freedom of movement. The longer sleeve and body length is also a plus. A great product!..
