The new Nangpa-la GTX is the perfect boot for any daily excursion; on the trail or about town. Similar to the award winning Scarpa Kailash, the Nangpa-la has the same stiffness, but uses the more breathable Gore-tex XCR instead of standard Gore-tex. Compared to our best selling Scarpa Mustang, the Nangpa-la is slightly more flexible, lighter, with a bit more cushioning; this makes this boot a better choice for faster going, or for mostly day hiking. Fit is the same well respected BX last. Limited to stock on hand.

| | Tip: | Scarpa's BX last has proven to be a broad spectrum fit. The width is medium, C to D; when upsized 1/2 size, E (but not EE) can be accommodated. The mid to rear foot area is comfortably snug. The volume is medium to medium/high. Lower volume feet can still fit with the addition of a shim under the footbed. The major weakness is for those with toes that do not taper, but stay as wide as the ball of the foot. | |
