The Black Diamond Serac Pro, Strap, and Clip Crampons are an excellent lightweight crampon for any boot set up. Their stainless steel horizontal frontpoints pierce hard ice and snow without sketching on you. With secondary points that provide solid stability in mushy ice or snow, the Seracs’ serrated teeth offer maximum bite when pulling onto ledges or ice blobs. The Pro version is for technical boots, the Clip version is for boots without a front toe welt, and the Strap version is for use with trekking boots.
