The Petzl Verso is a simplified, more compact, and lighter weight version of the Petzl Reverso. It is a single belay device that works with ropes down to 7.5 mm. The Petzl Reverso has ARC (Adaptive Rope Control) technology that dynamically changes the friction on the rope through a groove system in one end. This belay device will cover all your basics and still cut grams off your rack.
