This is not a "street shoe" fit. Fit is true to length as measured on a european brannock device, however, the fit is very "close". Width is about a D, but the sculpting of the shoe leaves very little space. A real approach shoe- hike in, and still climb 5th class rock.
Lace-to-the-toe climbing shoe design can adapt to many different width feet. It is important to remember, when trying them on for the first time, to loosen the laces as much as possible all the way down to the toe. Otherwise, the first impression will be that the boot is too narrow. |
