The Petzl Universo Belay Device combines a Verso belay device and an Attache 3D carabiner. The Attache 3D is held in optimal position by a sliding connection piece. This belay system is comfortable and efficient to use on all rope diameters. The sliding connection piece allows the Verso belay device to stay in place, while allowing the carabiner to work along it's axis. The Petzl Universo Belay Device is easily reversed for left or right hands, and allows you to use one piece of equipment for any and all types of rope. The asymmetrically grooved sidewalls increase braking power during a lead or top rope fall. Available in 2 colors.
