I bought mine in 1995 or 1996. It's still going strong today, save for the odd grease stain here and there...

This jacket is my "go to" jacket for every season. I have owned the MH Windstopper Tech for over ten years and it is still going strong, looks great and continues to block the wind. The older version I owned was "stolen" by my neice, so I replaced it with the updated version. I have worn it on chilly summer nights on the beach, fall hiking in the White Mountains and in the winter on the ski slope and around town in the dead of winter. I recently wore this jacket with a base layer turtleneck, basic fleece vest snow tubing in 20 degree weather, not counting the wind chill, and was actually warm, had to open up the pit zips! I also use this cycling, although it lacks the longer back found on my cycling windstopper, this jacket out performs at blocking the wind. I generally wear a size 10 to 1..

I have not yet been able to wear this in temperatures below 20F, but I have in 25F weather on a rigorus hike with a moderate humidity level, and it does wick inner moisture away just like the standard fleece, and dries fast too, and the pit zips were very handy! I not only bought it for its' windstopper fleece but also as an inner layer with my M/H Exposure II Parka. Combined they have performed excelent and make a (quick change) tri-climate parka, no zippers to go bad when layering down or layering back up. I was giving TNF a hard look but the choices kept looking better and better with my selection of the Mountain Hardware technical clothing, and I like the styles and color matching too, getting alot of compliments!..
